Psalm 10

Psa. 10:1 ¶ Why ado You stand afar off, O LORD? 
Why bdo You hide 1Yourself in times of trouble? 

Psa. 10:2 In apride the wicked 1hotly pursue the afflicted; 
2Let them be bcaught in the plots which they have devised. 

Psa. 10:3 ¶ For the wicked aboasts of his bheart’s desire, 
And 1the greedy man curses and cspurns the LORD. 

Psa. 10:4 The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, adoes not seek Him. 
All his 1thoughts are, “bThere is no God.” 

Psa. 10:5 ¶ His ways 1aprosper at all times; 
Your judgments are on high, bout of his sight; 
As for all his adversaries, he snorts at them. 

Psa. 10:6 He says to himself, “aI will not be moved; 
1Throughout all generations bI will not be in adversity.” 

Psa. 10:7 His amouth is full of curses and deceit and boppression; 
cUnder his tongue is mischief and wickedness. 

Psa. 10:8 He sits in the alurking places of the villages; 
In the hiding places he bkills the innocent; 
His eyes 1stealthily watch for the 2cunfortunate. 

Psa. 10:9 He lurks in a hiding place as aa lion in his 1lair; 
He blurks to catch cthe afflicted; 
He catches the afflicted when he draws him into his dnet. 

Psa. 10:10 He 1crouches, he 2bows down, 
And the 3unfortunate fall 4by his mighty ones. 

Psa. 10:11 He asays to himself, “God has forgotten; 
He has hidden His face; He will never see it.” 

Psa. 10:12 ¶ Arise, O LORD; O God, alift up Your hand. 
bDo not forget the afflicted. 

Psa. 10:13 Why has the wicked aspurned God? 
He has said to himself, “You will not require it.” 

Psa. 10:14 You have seen it, for You have beheld amischief and vexation to 1take it into Your hand. 
The 2bunfortunate commits himself to You; 
You have been the chelper of the orphan. 

Psa. 10:15 aBreak the arm of the wicked and the evildoer, 
1bSeek out his wickedness until You find none. 

Psa. 10:16 ¶ The LORD is aKing forever and ever; 
bNations have perished from His land. 

Psa. 10:17 O LORD, You have heard the adesire of the 1humble; 
You will bstrengthen their heart, cYou will incline Your ear

Psa. 10:18 To 1vindicate the aorphan and the boppressed, 
So that man who is of the earth will no longer cause cterror. 


Proverbs 10

Prov. 10:1 ¶ The aproverbs of Solomon. 
bA wise son makes a father glad, 
But ca foolish son is a grief to his mother. 

Prov. 10:2 1aIll-gotten gains do not profit, 
But righteousness delivers from death. 

Prov. 10:3 The LORD awill not allow the 1righteous to hunger, 
But He bwill 2reject the craving of the wicked. 

Prov. 10:4 Poor is he who works with a negligent hand, 
But the ahand of the diligent makes rich. 

Prov. 10:5 He who gathers in summer is a son who acts wisely, 
But he who sleeps in harvest is a son who acts shamefully. 

Prov. 10:6 aBlessings are on the head of the righteous, 
But bthe mouth of the wicked conceals violence. 

Prov. 10:7 The amemory of the righteous is blessed, 
But bthe name of the wicked will rot. 

Prov. 10:8 The awise of heart will receive commands, 
But 1a babbling fool will be 2ruined. 

Prov. 10:9 He awho walks in integrity walks securely, 
But bhe who perverts his ways will be found out. 

Prov. 10:10 He awho winks the eye causes trouble, 
And 1ba babbling fool will be 2ruined. 

Prov. 10:11 The amouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, 
But bthe mouth of the wicked conceals violence. 

Prov. 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, 
But alove covers all transgressions. 

Prov. 10:13 On athe lips of the discerning, wisdom is found, 
But ba rod is for the back of him who lacks 1understanding. 

Prov. 10:14 Wise men astore up knowledge, 
But with bthe mouth of the foolish, ruin is at hand. 

Prov. 10:15 The arich man’s wealth is his 1fortress, 
The bruin of the poor is their poverty. 

Prov. 10:16 The 1awages of the righteous is life, 
The income of the wicked, punishment. 

Prov. 10:17 He ais on the path of life who heeds instruction, 
But he who ignores reproof goes astray. 

Prov. 10:18 He awho conceals hatred has lying lips, 
And he who spreads slander is a fool. 

Prov. 10:19 When there are amany words, transgression is unavoidable, 
But bhe who restrains his lips is wise. 

Prov. 10:20 The tongue of the righteous is as achoice silver, 
The heart of the wicked is worth little. 

Prov. 10:21 The alips of the righteous feed many, 
But fools bdie for lack of 1understanding. 

Prov. 10:22 It is the ablessing of the LORD that makes rich, 
And He adds no sorrow to it. 

Prov. 10:23 Doing wickedness is like asport to a fool, 
And so is wisdom to a man of understanding. 

Prov. 10:24 What athe wicked fears will come upon him, 
But the bdesire of the righteous will be granted. 

Prov. 10:25 When the awhirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, 
But the brighteous has an everlasting foundation. 

Prov. 10:26 Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, 
So is the alazy one to those who send him. 

Prov. 10:27 The afear of the LORD prolongs 1life, 
But the byears of the wicked will be shortened. 

Prov. 10:28 The ahope of the righteous is gladness, 
But the bexpectation of the wicked perishes. 

Prov. 10:29 The away of the LORD is a stronghold to the upright, 
But bruin to the workers of iniquity. 

Prov. 10:30 The arighteous will never be shaken, 
But bthe wicked will not dwell in the land. 

Prov. 10:31 The amouth of the righteous flows with wisdom, 
But the bperverted tongue will be cut out. 

Prov. 10:32 The lips of the righteous bring forth awhat is acceptable, 
But the bmouth of the wicked what is perverted.
