The greatest use of a life |
(One of my favorite quotes)
I was raised as a Southern girl (Augusta, GA) and transplanted to Central Florida when my dad moved us here for the Disney World project. I am a Christian baby boomer, married 35+ years, mom to two dear grown sons and as of 2024, now a first time grandmother. I homeschooled both sons and now try to encourage other young moms who are starting this adventure with their children.
I married while in my early 30's (yes, for the first and only time), hence my heart to encourage younger single women to live life to the fullest and to not waste their single years "on the hunt". Lots of blog posts about that...
Currently, I am retired from finance and from teaching piano. I maintain a small Ebay store online (click on the PIANO LESSONS or EBAY & AMAZON tabs above) and am a part-time rep for JuicePlus+. I also like to travel, read good books (the paper kind, although I'm learning to love my iPad mini) and write, and I love, love, love taking photos--look for the P52 posts here on the blog.
Always growing as a Titus 2 woman [Titus 2: 3-5] and am so thankful for the gift of having been a mom at home for 35+ years. There were $$ sacrifices, of course, living on one income, but our relationships now with our sons are priceless to me. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Being their mom has by far, been the best "job" I've ever had. I am blessed indeed.

James 1:17
Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.
