Advent Devotion
Zacharias didn't believe God's angel. What the angel promised seemed impossible. There is an old song, whose words are, God specializes in things thought impossible [God Specializes, by Kevin Davidson]. Ponder God's power today and pray if you have a doubting heart, that He would show you His glory.

Daily Life
Last night we heard the Bach Festival Choir sing Christmas carols and other songs with an orchestra in an outdoor concert in our city. We went with another couple and two of their children (our sons have been many, many times to this). The other wife and I got there early and staked out a plot of land :). We brought seats, dinner and wine. Her husband brought candles. There were 12 Tiffany lighted windows on display throughout the park as well, two very close to where we were seated. What a lovely evening full of beautiful music and friendship. Ah... holiday memories.
