I was catching up on a few newspapers that I hadn't read this week and saw that this event began today. For all you book lovers who can't resist a good book sale, this one is HUGE.
ORLANDO PUBLIC LIBRARY FALL BOOK SALE--50% off!:
Prices will surely be falling during the annual Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale at the Orlando Public Library’s third floor bookstore. Customers will receive a 50% storewide discount on Friday and Saturday, September 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 19 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Browse from a large collection of lightly used materials including fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, cookbooks, children’s books and much more! Friends of the Library members are welcome to attend the Members-Only Preview Sale on Thursday, September 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Members will receive an additional 10% off at the preview sale and new members are invited join at the door.
If you've never visited the Orange County Library's main branch, you can't miss it. It takes up almost an entire city block and is bordered by Central, Robinson, Wall and Magnolia Avenues. Bookstore is located on the 3rd floor.
