Sometimes you just stumble onto a fun movie you've never heard of before as I occasionally do on the Hallmark Channel. Last week I ran across this one which airs again this Wednesday, September 15, at 9:00 p.m. titled The Wish List. Be sure to set your DVR's to record this one. Here is a synopsis:
The Wish List
Sarah Fisher, an overly organized, by-the-numbers kind of woman, makes a "wish list" of all the qualities and traits her future husband should have. After finding the perfect man, she falls for a guy who meets none of her criteria and discovers that life and love don't always work out according to the master plan. Stars Jennifer Esposito and David Sutcliffe.
Singles, particularly women, will particularly appreciate this movie and from someone who is married, it holds a lot of good messages when waiting for Mr. Right (particularly looking at the inside of a person not just focusing on the outside). Not a "Christian" movie, but well done. Spend an evening with your girlfriends and watch this one together.
NOTE: There are a few "list" items that Christian women need to have in mind before becoming engaged and married, #1 being this one:
2Corinthians 6:14
Do not be bound together with unbelievers;
for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness,
or what fellowship has light with darkness?
