Have you heard of Ceiva? I think it's the coolest thing for people who do not use computers, particularly grandparents and older relatives.
My 91-year-old aunt has a frame like this that sets next to her favorite chair in the family room. Others can upload photos via the internet directly to her frame so that she has a new stream of pictures of her favorite people. She absolutely loves it! There is a reasonable monthly fee, but what a great gift for a special person in your life to keep in touch through photos.
