Water aerobics

I have been doing water aerobics for several months now. Started going twice a week in November. Our YMCA pool is heated which feels great in the winter months.

What a treat today to have the temperature in the 80s after swimming the last few weeks and 50°and 60° weather. 

Take the next step: do something more active than usual a few times each week. You'll really notice a difference!

The buds on our orchid are opening!  Truly a miracle, because we live by the "survival of the fittest" rule when it comes to plants around our house.  It's been kept outside in warm, cold, freezing and hot weather and still we can't seem to kill it.  :)

Eating more vegetables Use A Spiralizer

 


   


None of us eats enough vegetables. But my Christmas toy sure helps us enjoy them now. I tried to spiralize near the beginning of the week so the vegetables are prepared for any meal. 

Here are cucumber ribbons, zucchini noodles and Jicama circles.  

I used the cucumber on sandwiches and salads; The zucchini noodles and soup and as a substitute for pasta; and the jicama  on salads. 

My husband loved it all. 

The next step? Try this handy tool and eat more vegetables. 


Do fairies live under mushrooms?

I'm waiting for the little fairies to pop out of our neighbor's mushrooms!
